Relax please....
I'm a 23 male in Alaska. I came back to this site after
ignoring it for a while. I've had my silver profile
up now for about 3 months. I only recently moved back into
the town I'm in 2.5 months ago. In that time I've
had 6 dates from Adult FriendFinder people (its a reasonably small town
so fairly impressive).
The only reason I think I've met that many people in
person is because I know how to relax. I think men get it into
their heads that they are the answer to every woman's
sexual desire, and expect too much from this site. After
trying to log into chat rooms and ask anyone want
to fuck tonight? and getting completely ignored,
they get discouraged and hostile because their ego has
been damaged. My fellow men, you need to relax, calm down
and be patient. You can see great results from this site
with just 15 mins a day put into it, but only if you can put
yourself into a woman's shoes. Read her profile carefully,
try to connect in some way with her. Interest her in you!
Not every woman wants to see pictures of your penis. I make
a point of keeping everything on my profile and network
pics classy. If a woman wants pictures of my penis, I'll
send them. I for one dont like to look at the male reproductive
unit. Sure, I think mine is beautiful (doesn't every
guy?) but I realize that that is MY opinion, and I'm
not going to try and force it onto a woman.
Often, they are
much more interested in seeing a picture that highlights
your body, shoulders, face. Women dont think exactly like
us..... they get turned on by different parts.
Also, many men come here expecting to find super models.
But if you think rationally, people that beautiful on the
outside dont need to be at a site like this to meet people.
I'm not saying that having standards are bad. I most
certainly have standards. I only felt a physical connection
with 2 of the 6 people I've gone out to lunch and drinks
with. That doesn't mean I didn't have a good time
chatting with the other 4. I just feel that if you limit yourself
to certain standards, you are seriously lowering your
chances of ever actually meeting someone.
Finally, if you have the ability to get a woman to agree to
meet you.... dont expect to get laid. Bring a few condoms
just incase mind you, there are always sex freaky people
out there, I'm just saying that the chances of you meeting
a person like that are very slim. For most women, it will
take 3 to 4 dates before there is even the remote chance of
sex. Have a sexual resume available with the names of people
you've had sex with in the past, and when. Women are
usually more cautious about sex because they bear a higher
risk than men. If they ask you to provide documentation
of STD checks, get it done AND ask them for the same, its only
fair.
For the majority of tests you get results back in 3
days or less. For blood work to test for AIDS it takes 2 weeks
(which is often about the soonest you'll be seeing
action anyway, so if you have a good feeling about the girl,
just get tested anyway incase she does ask). Some places
even have public funded community health clinics that
will do the testing for free (usually nice to donate though,
money shouldn't be a reason to avoid your sexual check-up
commitments).
Anyway, thats my rant.... take it to heart, mature up, and
keep your expectations low.... its easier to be pleasently
surprised when something good does happen.
